Neuropsychological Evaluations for Aging Adults
As we age, it’s natural to wonder whether changes in memory and thinking are part of normal aging—or signs of something more concerning. Dr. O’Connor offers comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations to assess how your brain’s health compares to others your age.
Through in-depth testing of memory, attention, language, and other thinking skills, Dr. O’Connor can identify areas of strength and pinpoint any weaknesses. If concerns are found, she works to determine what might be causing them.
Each evaluation lasts about 3 to 4 hours and includes a detailed follow-up session. Dr. O’Connor will meet with you—and a family member or support person—to explain the results of your evaluation in plain language and discuss recommendations and next steps.
Repeat evaluations can also be scheduled to track changes in your thinking over time, giving you a clearer picture of your brain’s health and helping guide future care.
